Scotland!

Hello everyone I am incredibly sorry about my bad bloging and I cant believe how long it has been since I last bloged! I have not had very good internet and every time I try to upload pics I end up crashing my browser! I also need to check what I have put up because I have lots of pics now and I am not even sure if I bloged about the places! So I am very sorry. I am now in England on my way to Hadrian's wall! It is quite hard to type when the keyboard is bouncing around in frond of me! Yesterday I went to Lindersfarn/Holy Island. I was a great and we went at the time when everyone else left, you see for those who don't know were or what Lindersfarn is Lindersfarn is an island and at certain times of day or night eg. Four in the afternoon and so on you can cross to the island on a causeway/road that is otherwise covered with water. So we arrived at our strange camp-site (Bluebell Farm, Belford) were white rabbits run free along with Chinese duck and baby swans! It was almost exactly one of the afternoon low tide times (around 4 ish) so we immediately hoped back in the car and drove of to the causeway. We arrived and managed to cram Huwie (our little car) in to the car park. The place looked nice. We walked through the small village with Rhys telling us about how when the island originally was home to a few monastery's it had been the first place that the Vikings had invaded! He then went on to pretend to be a Viking waving his fists and storming through the 'very busy' streets and scaring one woman on her peaceful walk on the castle hills shouting and brandishing his pick axes'. We then walked around the small island and down the bit of the cause way we could before getting tea and waiting until 10 when we could go back to the mainland. I realised when we were on the island that we always seem to arrive places when they are covered in scaffolding! For instance
The Forbidden City
Roslin Chapel
The Pathanon
Lindersfarn Priory
The abby in Ireland
and probably a few more.
It was nice to be home in Cermit because he had been in the garage getting his bowels checked. In our family we have had to send our cars to the garage quite a lot huwie has been to the garage a lot for his tail (exhaust) and he already has hair extensions (roof bars) and his braces (A frame towing system) he is a cool car. But with Cermit being in the garage it meant that we had no where to sleep so we got to have a mini holiday in Edinburgh! We did a lot of shopping because there are two very important B-days coming up: mine and mummys! Edinburgh was a bit like London but a bit cooler. I really liked it and I got to have a bath!
I really enjoyed Scotland and there is so much other stuff that I haven't bloged about yet so I am afraid this is going to be a long one!

Before we stayed In Edinburgh we went to this really nice camp-site in the highlands and we did so much there. We did this one long cycle were me, dad, Rhys and Jenna went out first to this place called tree zone were we were on a harness and there was an assault course through the trees! It was really fun and sometimes scary! I will link to our vids of it at the end of the blog. We then went on to cycle the nearest loch we cycled all around the top of it until we got to the first turning of with we thought was the one that lead straight back to our camp-site. It wasn't. We got lost and ended up cycling through a deer farm in the rutting season. Classical. The best bit was went we go to the fence out of the farm and Rhys burst into tears saying “are we gona die!!!!” it was very funky! We then got lost again down the road but we found the right path eventually and soon we came back to the and I quote “the boring old mill” that Is what the sign said! lol.

The other classical thing was when Rhys and Dad went for an overnight hike up the mountain and there was gale force winds and no visibility but they found us ...eventually. My favorite place was the reindeer farm! It was pretty self explanatory we walked up to the farm bit and we got to feed some of them. We also learnt about the reindeer. They have antlers that fall of and are furry when they are growing. I got to feed this big one called Magnus. I really liked Scotland.
We also, and this was a very long time ago climbed Ben Nevis. It was good fun but I didn't go to the top because mum got really freaked and I took her back down. I sill got a certificate though! So I think that's almost everything but if I have forgotten anything I will blog again at some point. Don't wait up! Bye!
