Some background we have been in Gythion a while and Rhys' friend Nathan (shout out to Nathan) is over.
Yesterday me and my family (and Nathan who is visiting us) went on a school trip. In the car we drove from Gythion (the town we are at) to Mistras stopping at Spata for a quick coffee or in my case a cola break. It was v. hot yesterday as it is today so the car was baking. The drive took about 2 hours so I watched a few episode of how I met your mother and I played a few rounds of twilight quiz on my new phone.
After we stopped in Sparta and mum had brought new crocs and I founds the best new android book reader (and six books to go with it) we drove the little way left to the Byzantine town of Mistras.
We soon arrived after the steep up-hill drive that made me feel ill and we all went in (kids for free).
Mistras was lovely and it was great to see a Byzantine settlement after writing a long essay on the Byzantine empire for history. The buildings were built between the eleventh and the sixteenth century so some were reminiscent of Greek architecture today and some were more like bits of rock in a square shape.
The churches and monasteries were similar to the churches we saw on the drive from Gythion. One of the monasteries was actually working and we could she the nuns apartments. There were lots of cats at that monastery that did not do much for my allergies and I already was not feeling to good but they were cute all the same. 
We walked as high as we could then we opted to drive up the rest of the way and walk the last bit up but in the end we didn’t even do that we just went and got pizza instead! And man that pizza was GGGGOOOOOODDDDD! But it did make me feel bad on the journey home (or maybe that was all the ebook reading! Oopps!)
anyhow I had a good time best points being the sheep with bells on the pizza and when Nathan locked him self in the loo's! Lol!

Phone Review
Hi everyone so this is not really a blog but more a review - see mum and Rhys went back to the UK to do a scholarship exam and with my birthday money they brought me a little android smart phone so here is my review:
I have a LG Optimus GT540 that is running android 2.1. it is really easy to use and I already have loads of apps. It still only takes a second to load. The phone is perfect for anyone on a budget. It has good internet that connects really easily. I also love the text app. The camera is not amazing but it is good to have a camera with me all the time. 
The media player is really good for movies and I have watched loads on there already but I wouldn't use it for music the actual music player is much better. the only this that you need is to get a bigger memory card than the one that come with the phone when you buy it because otherwise you cant have loads of films music pictures and everything at the same time.
Apps
so far I have 24 apps.15 games 3 music apps a book reader and other useful things.
I cant say there is one best app but there
is definitely a few specially good ones. If I had to pick then i have to say that Laputa is probably the best. 
Laputa is a ebook reader that I got free of the android app market. It is very simple but I have all ready nearly finished my first book. So far I have only got books of hot books but they had a load of great titles including the harry potters and the twilight saga. So that is great but other apps you should just get them because the are soooo useful:
the open office document reader (I use open office but if you dont you might find it easy to just use the pre loaded one.)
bump if you know other people with android apps then they can give you the apps like on bluetooth this also works for contacts and pics!)
freedi youtube downloader it works really well and it is great if you use your phone for internet more that a computer.
Now there are so many games and you know to each his own but I have a few recommendations:
finger dance revolutions
mystery sound box
and slice it.
Now there are lots of other great ones but I think if you do your own searching you can find the games you find fun I will leave you with that and talk to you soon.
That Big Blog I Said About...
Hi Everyone. I heard today that people do actually read this thing so today I am going to try and write good one today. O the 22nd I got on a 2 night ferry from Venice to Greece. Venice was good and we went out first at about 6ish and we spent the evening out. We went out again and when mum and Rhys first went out to see Harry Potter 7 and we went to the Venice Museam and we climbed up this bell tower in the San Marco square. The tower was really old and it fell down about 4 times. This one time it got hit by lightning and this other time a crack appear at the bottom and after like 3 days the crack had spread to the bell tower and it fell down and only one of the bells survived. They rebuilt the bell tower every time it fell down with all the bits they could risky and it was really cool but when we were up there the bells went of and it was sooooooooooooooooooooo loud!
When we were in the museum we saw all the old armour and guns and spears and thing. They also had thoughs old globes and they had models of the old ships. On one of the models it had two anchors on the fount and the anchor on the left had been round around a little piller but the one on the right hadn't. I was upset about this because there was like no way into the glass case it was in and I am quite a perfectionist, when I see something that is not right I have this urge to put it right and it upset me because I knew that no one would ever put it right because it was sealed into a glass case.
Any way they also had a room full of coins and they had pretty much every coin that had ever been printed in Venice and all the machines they used to make the coins to! They had this one solid gold coin that was made at the time to rival the Florin called the Duket! The museum (witch I keep wanting to right a musee because I have been in France and Italy) was really good and I thourly recommend it. It was called The Venice Museum of Architecture and it is just of the main square.
So I got on the ferry. The first night was fine and the port was right next to our camp-site. They did make us go up to the like 4th floor with Kermie towing Huwie and everything witch was slightly inconsiderate but we made it. The food wasn't to good but we had a nice cheese and ham toasty up on the top deck during a few games of bridge, poker, Bullshit and lists.
I was rubbish at poker and I bet all my sugars (witch we were using as chips) and then had to fold when I ran out. I would have lost anyway but. We always play bridge and I can usually stand about 2 games but as anyone who has played chess with me will know after about half a game ( or the third game in the case of bridge) I tend to get pretty board! I always drop out when I play chess and it reallllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy annoys Rhys because he loves chess. Bullshit is known under many (usually less obcean names) such as cheat, rubbish, and lier. It is especially pick back but you try to cheat as much as you can and if you think they are cheating you shout cheat when they place down. If they are then they must pick up the pile but if they were not they the prosecutor does instead. My brother always says cheat even if you are not cheating. Its an interesting approach to the game. Now if you haven't played lists then you haven't lived! List is where everyone involved picks a category and you each right them all down on a piece of paper. You then have 5 mins to think up and Wright down every thing you can think of that falls under each category belonging to a certain letter. For instance I would say “any fictional character”. Rhys would say “foot ball teams”. Jen would say animals mum would say Countries and dad would spend ages thinking and probably say something like Colours One person would then count the alphabet and one other would say stop. And say you get M you would have to list all the things you could for each category beginning with M
So I know this blog is now really late (soz) but I have been quite busy (everyone reading thinks yer right) but we have been in Gythion now for about 3 months. we've had Christmas!
We've been to the caves of Diros (but not on the boat). We've met this ozzy family who gave us a load of movies and ow I met your mother! And the IT crowd! Big shout out to Lou, mac and Jo! Had a great time with you guys!

France
France... well its been eventful! I want to say a quick sorry to everyone that I haven't been around that much I really haven't had internet and its just been busy! We got up early in England and then we got to the ferry in the afternoon and we spent the rest of the time driving up there.
The ferry was nice and the only slightly disconcerting thing was that when waiting to get on the ferry one of the internal alarms went off. We sorted it and it hasn't gone off since so we haven't looked into it much.
In France they have these things called Aires where you can stay for free and some of them have hook up and water. They are basically service stations. Well the actually are service stations with really big car parks. It was really windy the first night and we didn't have hook up there which sucked big time caus I left my lantern on so I didn't have it the next night where we didn't have hook up either.
Rhys was really annoying because he kept on saying “oh French food is the best in the world” and “oh we have to eat in the air because French food is so great”. Which is like saying “oh we have to eat in the little chef because English food is the best in the world” you know. You are never going to get the best food in the world if you eat in the service station. And I don't mean to offend anyone but the food in the Aires was so bad! I really didn't like it at all.
At most of the Aires we had no problems at all and there were always nice truckers and everything. But when we were in Marseille we had had quite a bad day and when we woke up we discovered that we had been robed! So I wouldn't personally recommend that Air at all! But we did pick up some really nice hitch-hikers there so hi if your reading this!
After a lot of sorting out what we had lost and stuff we moved on to the camp-site ewe are now in. this camp-site is really great it Is called La Vielle Ferme and it is in Antibes so i'm really sorry I lied to you George I got confused!
Its nice here but we haven't really done a lot because mum and dad have been working but we are trying to watch all the Harry Potter films before we see the next one because it doesn't come out here for another couple of days :(
I hope you have all seen the new pages. If not you must have a look at them they are on the page bar which is just bellow the picture on the home page. Listen I am going to upload this now so I will write again soon next time I have internet (probably).

The Lake District
Hi Everyone! i am currently in the lake district! it is raining at the mo but most of the time the weather has been pretty good. it being October it means that everyone's birthday has either been or is coming up (like mine!)we have just had my mums birthday actually and in some far of part of the country my big grown up cousin Sean has also just turned 18! so congratualtions!
I went for a walk yesterday. The walk yesterday was good. we did get a bit lost at the end but lucky dad (being dad) had a GPS app on his spunky new Man-Droid, sorry i mean Android! he also has a spirit level, a torch, space invaders and wait for it... a PIANO! i mean who wouldn't be complete with out there mini touch screen piano? we walked all along the side of the hill. we could see the lake and it was actually really beautiful. we got to this waterfall and there was a tea rooms so we all scraped together our change and rounded up £15 just enough for 2 cakes a pot of tea for 2, 2 lattes and a bag of crisps. we then ended up getting lost (somehow) and Henrietta (the GPS laddie on the man-droid) became our new best friend! she did get us back though, so...
the road back wasn't very interesting but we did go past an adder reserve which was quite cool.
before the walk it was mums birthday! she got a tonne of stuff perfume, books, personal GPS, a Nicon camara with a nice bag and some nice cards to! i am now exited for my birthday. i am asking for money so that i get some sims2 packs!
